Viewed car and found some issues and was told they would sort them etc car will come fully valeted to, I put deposit on car waited two weeks, for it to be available to collect when arrived I waited ages for them to bring it to me car hadn\u2019t been cleaned even thou they told me a time to collect, I wanted test drive it make sure all ok, car drive terrible pulling left and right, hand break still went right to the top even thou it failed mot on it, nothing been done to the car what they told me they would do, unfortunately I walked away as they hadn\u2019t done what they told me they would do, I got my deposit back, but it\u2019s annoying when u wait 2 weeks for a car and not to be ready and not described how they said it would be, I wouldn\u2019t trust them at all.left 2 star review because they gave me deposit back.
Dealt with Rupert and purchased a Porsche Cayenne S remotely, this was easy and he was helpful in answering any questions. There was a delay in getting the vehicle prepared and the standard of preparation with respect to internal vehicle cleanliness and exterior polishing/detailing needed improvement. After sales 10/10- John and Ellie were really helpful, we had various snagging issues with the car following collection and they were all resolved promptly without regard to cost. Good communication and willingness to help rather than negate responsibility. Overall a positive experience.
I have given BMC another shot after speaking with John and they sorted out the car I was after. Picked it up today and I'm happy with the car. The owner (sorry I didn't catch your name) even gave me some money for diesel as he noticed it was very low. Picked up, driven home and so far no complaints. Really happy at how things have turned out and finally have the car I wanted! Thanks guys, would recommend!
Went and viewed a car on the 4th February. Charlie advised it had an adblue fault but this would be fixed before collection. Finance arranged and agreed collection end of the following week. From there it was radio silence. The end of the week arrived and the car wasn't done, I had to chase to find out. From then on it was radio silence again unless I chased with promises that it would be done the following weekend. It still wasn't. Fast forward to last week and Charlie said it would be done on Thursday after 3pm. Low and behold, radio silence again. I called after 3 to find Charlie wasn't in, the car wasn't done and that they couldn't fix it! A lovely lady called Linda apologised and said she would get John to arrange getting my finance cancelled and would confirm by text or email. I have heard nothing from BMC but the finance company have confirmed the finance has been cancelled. I wouldn't have minded a delay, but the sheer lack of customer service and communication is unacceptable. Edited 04/03 - after speaking with John, my deposit was refunded, apologies made and explanations given. Whilst the poor communication is still the fundamental issue here, I hope to be able to give them a second chance in the future. John was a really grounded guy who understood where I was coming from and explained the circumstances for the issues I've experienced.
A good selection of motors. No hard sale at all. Left to look around and we picked 3 to test drive. Again no pushy salesman at all. Very relaxed and informative. Bought a car,which we picked up a week later that had been serviced, MOT with no advisories. All in all highly recommend Brookes cars
