I’ve had multiple disappointing experiences with Audi Solihull, and unfortunately the service has been consistently below the standard you would expect from a premium brand. In December 2025, I booked my Audi RS in for a service. Despite completing the online check-in in advance and being told it would be ready the same day, I was called mid-afternoon and told parts were not available because it was an RS model. I was then asked to pay upfront for parts before they could even be ordered. After paying, I received no confirmation and had to chase multiple times just to get proof of payment. When I collected the car, it hadn’t even been cleaned — something that is supposed to be included as standard with Audi servicing. The manager acknowledged this and promised a full valet after Christmas, but this was never followed up or honoured. I then brought in my second vehicle for an MOT and experienced more poor service. I was left waiting while customers who arrived after me were seen and finished first. Only after I complained was anything done. Most recently, I called to book my RS in for an MOT (due 2026 April) and was told I would receive a callback. That was two weeks ago — I’m still waiting. Overall, the lack of organisation, poor communication, and failure to deliver on basic commitments is unacceptable. This is not the level of service you expect from Audi. I would strongly recommend considering alternative dealerships unless significant improvements are made. I was recently contacted by Steve, who took ownership of the situation and resolved all outstanding issues professionally and efficiently. It’s reassuring to see Audi stepping in to correct things and uphold the level of service expected from the brand. Complementary MOT and full valet. I will give 5 star, in due time.
Avoid this place if you value your time !I booked a 1 PM appointment at Birmingham Audi after being told there were several used Audi A6 vehicles available to view and discuss a part-exchange for my Audi A3. When I arrived, I was informed the person who arranged the appointment was not there. I was then taken upstairs and shown only one A6, which had already been sold. I was told the other vehicles were actually located in Coventry, meaning there was nothing available on site to view or test drive. This resulted in a wasted journey and unnecessary fuel cost. I don’t understand why a customer would be invited to travel to the dealership if there are no cars available to see. The staff were polite and even offered my son a hot chocolate, which I appreciated, but I didn’t go for refreshments I came to seriously look at purchasing a car and unfortunately the visit felt poorly organised.
Dealing with this garage has completely put me off ever owning an Audi again. The customer service from this garage is absolutely appalling. My vehicle was at this garage for over two weeks for a warranty repair. On the first occasion I was left without a vehicle over a weekend after the mechanic working on my car locked my keys in his tool box and went home. No remedy offered. On the second occasion after them having my car for two weeks after two days of use from return, there was a major fault with my car and the coolant tank was half empty. When I called to sort it out, I had to be persistent to get anyone to take me seriously given they had only just given me the car back. When ever you call to find an update in respect of your car, you are told someone will call you back, they never do. I must have rang collectively on eight occasions without calls being returned. When my vehicle was finally fixed after calling multiple times for an update, they called me ten minutes up to closing time, informing me that I could get the car the following morning even though they had fixed it some time earlier in the day. I was fortunately able to collect it just in time. This was the first time I have ever dealt with an Audi dealership and my experience was awful and had much better customer service from independent garages. I would not recommend this dealership at all and gather Audi aren’t interested in aftercare with their products once they are purchased.
Just had my A5 in for the first, 2 year service. My last two cars were Mercedes, so this was my first experience of Audi Service. From arrival and being directed to a parking space by a very helpful staff member (apologies, I have forgotten your name, but thank you), to dealing with the reception and service staff, it was a very pleasurable experience. The car was serviced on time, washed and valeted, (something that wasn't always the case at Mercedes surprisingly) and returned with a note apologising for the seat having been moved. And all for \xa3600, which is definitely excellent value. A great experience and if we still have the car in 12 months time, will be very happy to return.
