Avoid this garage !! Showed an interest in a car they had for sale a week ago and was left waiting for phone calls back constantly that never happened! Had to keep calling them Just to be fobbed off and lied to continuously !! Even down to the day I brought my own car in for an inspection that they requested for the part exchange to be approved only to find out when I get there the car I was looking at was already sold !!! This customer apparently come in Saturday just gone and was given the option to pay a deposit for the car an option we was not offered when we looked at the car 5 days earlier !! And yet again was not even given a curtesy call to tell me the car I was going for had a deposit put on it and a possible sale pending !! And today Even tho I’d called first thing this morning to confirm what time I could bring my car over to do the inspection they knew the car I was looking to buy was already sold to another customer and said nothing !!! And lied to my face today asking me to give him a hour to see once the other customer had returned from a test drive if the sale was completed!! but I stopped another member of staff to ask them if they knew the outcome as the car was brought back just I as was leaving and they told me it had been sold 1-2 hours before I got there so more lies being told and surprise surprise yet again no phone call from them Complete time wasters!!!

I’ve been using Birchington Auto Repairs for a number of years for very good reasons. They do a great job for a fair price. Modern facilities, welcoming and clean. With the traditions of an old style village garage. Highly recommended.

Chris and the team performed a diagnostic check on my car, discovered the fault and repaired. In a matter of hours I was back on the road can’t thank you enough Excellent service

Always used these for years for MOT and services, I really cannot fault the friendly manner in which they deal with me as an albeit unfamiliar with anything mechanical type of person, the receptionist was friendly upon arrival, and when told the MOT will be upto an hour pointed me in the general direction of the highstreet and suggested a nice cafe, win win on that part. I was clearly informed of what work was required for my car to pass and after agreeing they managed to squeeze me in the same day. I really cannot recommend these guys enough, if you want a good honest garage to look after you in every step of your motoring repair journey I would definitely suggest BaR Station Garage in Birchington. Thanks to all there, in the words of Arnold Swarzenneger, I’ll be back 😎

Thoroughly impressed with the very quick service that I received from the garage. My MOT had ran out without my realising, this was sorted very quickly and efficiently. I cannot fault the service that I received and I would recommend to anyone. Thank you all at BAR.

Failed to diagnose and fix a brake problem, and charged me for it. Took my car elsewhere and they saw the problem straight away and fixed it with ease. Also, the receptionist treats customers like they are scumbags. We are not scumbags. We are customers. After 20 years, I shall now be going elsewhere for my car repairs. Very disappointing to see it go downhill like this. What happened!?

I can not fault the mechanics always hard working and friendly BUT the receptionists are rude beyond acceptable, don't expect please thank you or a pleasant manner they clearly do not enjoy their work or want to support a local business, go elsewhere !!
