Baylis Gloucester Business
Cole Avenue, Gloucester, GL2 5ER
Baylis Gloucester were great because my vauxall safira has been serviced in Cole avenue for the past 10 years since owning it. After my cars annual service and mot which passed after having new tyres etc. Malisa had to give me the news that my clutch had failed. I decided to trade my old car in and purchase a lovely 22 plate Mokka which Sven kindly took me on a test drive. You have an amazing team that I trust and hence why I decided I wanted to purchase my car from you. Well.done team Gloucester.
My experience at Baylis Gloucester was positive because the whole process from selecting a vehicle, arranging a test drive and finally purchase was quick, easy and organised. Staff are polite, efficient and welcoming. The environment is clean and the atmosphere is friendly. There is a large and comfortable waiting area with hot drink facilities. Baylis Gloucester comes highly recommended.
I would not recommend Baylis Gloucester because it is very poorly managed. I liked a vehicle id4 advertised on autotrader for £16191 and reserved it by paying 99 then I got a call from Baylis that I have to pay additional £299 for the deposit which I don’t understand why? Anyways on that day we spoke and I told him to keep everything ready as I will be travelling from Milton Keynes and I will let him know when I will be travelling, he told me that I can just give 2hrs notice and they will ready the vehicle. I emailed them on Tuesday night that I will be coming to collect the vehicle on Thursday and also told them to keep everything ready so that I can go back with the vehicle. On wed a guy called Sven called to make sure all the finance is ready before I arrive on Thursday and he said yes they will keep everything ready on Thursday. When I arrived on the Thursday their manager was like he was off yesterday hence they couldn’t ready the vehicle, I told that there was no out of office set on their email and I even spoke with Sven. Anyways because I had arrived at around 11 I told them to ready vehicle. The vehicle had more scratches than advertised, it was said on the advert that it has cameras installed but when driven it didn’t have any cameras installed. So lots of incorrect details were advertised. I had emailed them on Tuesday itself to do the full battery check and give its certificate till the point the keys were exchanged they said we are doing it and in the end they said the mechanic has checked and it is under warranty so don’t worry about battery health. It almost took 5 hours to ready the vehicle and do the sale. Anyways when I reached home and checked all the finance details I could see that they haven’t deducted the deposit amount of 299 from the price of the vehicle and I am emailing and calling them daily since but I haven’t got the initial £299 deposit refund yet
