We bought a used Ford Fiesta in December 2025. During the test drive, the tyre pressure monitoring system was flashing on the dashboard. The seller was aware of this and said it would be checked - it wasn’t. The car shouldn’t have been sold with a potential safety fault and we therefore contacted our local Ford garage to have the TPMS checked at a cost to us of over \xa3350. 2 tyre sensors were completely flat (battery operated), 1 partial and the fourth practically out of power. We contacted the seller and he informed us that if the car went to his repairer (not Ford) then they would look at it. However we weren’t happy with this and had already taken the car to the Ford garage. We know what the seller will say to this review, but we wouldn’t buy from this seller again. Detailed response noted from seller - just what we expected. We fully appreciated the age of the car when we purchased it and the pre-delivery check and reset of TPMS system obviously didn’t rectify the issue. The front near side tyre was checked by a tyre company and they couldn’t find any puncture of valve fault. Despite the warranty, we decided we wanted the car checked and repaired by a garage which had previously regularly serviced the car. We had to proceed with Ford as it was already at the garage and to delay by taking the car back to Autotrend when it was sold with this issue meant that we decided to proceed with Ford. We disagree that the TPMS is not essentially a safety function… you could be driving and get a puncture and a working system would alert you to this. The car was in limited use over the Christmas and New Year period hence the time delay.

I was a little anxious visiting Autotrend initially as I had never been there previously and being a female - it was quite daunting. I had nothing to worry about! As soon as I met Slam, he made me feel at ease instantly. Polite, friendly and professional! No pushy sales tactics. It was a very relaxed atmosphere. I didn’t think twice about jumping in the car with him for a drive. I cannot recommend Autotrend enough. The communication that Slam provided throughout was outstanding. I cannot fault the service that I received. I viewed the car on a Sunday and collected it on Tuesday!…Amazing! Such a lovely Gentleman. A pleasure to deal with. A very happy customer! Thank you Slam.

Great selection of cars at very fair prices. I went to look at the same car a few times and at no time felt pressured. All my questions were answered and I was able to arrange a test drive to fit in with my working times which was brilliant. I am really happy with my new to me car and look forward to driving it for many years to come. I would really recommend looking here for a car as you will get great customer care.

Second car I’ve had from Autotrend in the last 2 years! I loved the first car, but at 8 months pregnant needed something bigger… Slam went above and beyond to find a car to match my need, and contacted me as soon as something became available. Viewed the car on Monday morning, and returned later that day with my partner for a test drive - we ended up buying the car, with part exchange, and collected it on the Wednesday afternoon! Overall amazing service, I will definitely return when it’s time to upgrade again.

Had to replace my motor in August, I remember Autotrend from when they were down at Falmouth near the docks, I bought a car from them back then. So I went up to see them at Edgecombe, I spent half a day there, looking and sitting in all and everything, I took a car for a test drive, we had a long chat. Slams honest, no messing about, be tells you what's what with them, he did 30 years ago and he still does, I love this new (to me), car, I just had it checked out and my garage, they said" at last you bought a descent car" high praise indeed. Mr Aslam is impeccable in his service. He was so helpful to me when I needed it just before Christmas. There was no pressure and Mr Aslam gave thoughtful, appropriate guidance when I asked. He has a very, good variety of cars, many with personal local history which what I wanted. I would recommend visiting Autotrend to any of my friends.
