ADC is my go-to garage for any issues I've had with my current or previous vehicles. An honest and trustworthy garage, the issue is always solved promptly and at a reasonable cost. The team are all welcoming and extremely knowledgable at what they do. A massive thank you to Jono, Sam, Jack and Dean!
My Review of Auto DC I just wanted to write a quick review to share my experience with Auto DC. One of the biggest challenges these days is finding an honest mechanic — and I’m glad to say I’ve found one! I bought a car from Auto DC earlier this year. It came with a fresh MOT, completely clean with no faults or advisories. A few months later, my car was recalled by the manufacturer, who pointed out some issues they claimed should’ve been mentioned. Looking back, I honestly think they were being a bit overdramatic — but at the time, it did make me worry about the car I’d just bought. When I contacted Auto DC about it, they couldn’t have been more helpful. My car was with them for the day, and every single person I spoke to was friendly, honest, and genuine. Because I don’t live nearby, I had to hang around for a while, and not once did I feel uncomfortable or out of place. The team were welcoming, chatty, and just good people. Even though by rights they probably could have rejected some of the repairs the key to this review is they didn't because speaking to the owner about his legacy today he cares about having a good rep and doing good business with good people , they went above and beyond — fixing not only the things I mentioned but also a few extra bits to make sure I was completely happy with my car. And I genuinely am! \U0001f44d Good company, good people — I’d definitely recommend Auto DC.
AVOID!!! Purchased a van from here July 2023. Had EGR fault within the 3 months warranty. Was told to bring it in. So 2.5 hours down, waited a few hours and drove back 2.5 just found out the cowboy unplugged my EGR and never even fixed it. If you didn't have the decency to fix the problem just grow some balls and say that. Claims we have messed with it. It hasn't been to any other garage since the EGR fault so that's impossible and surprise surprise when it's plugged back in the problem and noise that it made when I dropped it off is still there. Reading the reviews I'm not the first and definitely won't be the last.
Jon was advertising a 20 plate Vauxhall vivaro van but we could only view on a Sunday, which wasn’t a problem at all, sorted out a time went viewed and purchased. Fantastic customer service and and would totally recommend buying a vehicle off Jon!!! Nothing dodgy unlike the previous company we went to
Bought a transit connect van from these highwaymen last June ....problems from day 1 .steering rack sensor blown because of defective alternator...they(ADC) partially helped (because 3 months warrantee) in house .... Suddenly get engine management message about "dpf overloaded drive to clean"..no amount of driving was going to clear it .garage ran a diagnostic and it showed the dpf was 150% sooted but no engine management light After extensive trials and tribulations in a local (trusted)garage ...turns out they(ADC) had entered the ECU and mapped out Some Temperature Sensors and the ENGINE MANAGEMENT LIGHT (probably covering something up). Cost me about \xa3450 for a Ford (tech) to flash the ECU and set it back as standard .then make the van do a forced regeneration. So the dpf can auto regenerate as normal ...thank you very much for the Awesome Van you sold me. NOT ....don't buy from here guys ...be warned bunch of crooks ...all the 1* reviews can't be lying ...
Jon was advertising a DS7 which are like finding a needle in a haystack this end of the country! I messaged him a few times with questions and he was always quick to respond. Went to see the car on Saturday and subsequently ended up buying it. We were left alone to look at the car in detail which was comforting, as I've visited large dealerships and been followed round and pressured which is off-putting. The car has a couple of wear and tear blemishes which is to be expected on a used car but Jon was open to negotiating a reasonable price reduction to cover these. It's beautiful! The negative reviews on here seem to point more to buyers not knowing what to ask when buying cars. And remember, you're buying a used car, faults can occur. Luckily I haven't had any faults as yet, but I'm confident that Jon would help me put any faults right.
