Went in for a tyre rotation and the woman behind the counter didn't have a clue what I was on about and thought I was being stupid. She shouldn't be working in customer service let alone a garage ....terrible attitude ******* EDIT *** as to reply to clearly this woman. not every car is "modern" and tyre sensors aren't in every car. It's not a old practice for front wheel drive cars as they tend to "go though tires" faster during the winter and you clearly still have no idea what the hell you are talking about. I won't delete the comment as I want people to understand what a joke of a company you are
Unauthorised Repairs, Unprofessional Conduct, and Discriminatory Treatment We brought our car in for an inspection due to a noise issue. Without our authorisation or even informing us of their findings, the garage proceeded to carry out repairs. When my husband called to check on progress, the female owner also receptionist told him the car was being repaired and they would inform us of the cost afterward. This is unacceptable business practice. Customers must be informed of diagnosis and costs BEFORE any work is carried out, not after. When my husband arrived to collect the car and refused to pay for unauthorised repairs, but happy to pay for inspection, the female owner became aggressive and argumentative. She made derogatory comments about his English based on the fact we are not UK nationals and criticised him for having our children with him who witnessed all this, which left them deeply distressed. We followed up by email requesting proper documentation and a report. The owner refused, stating they “won’t reply to our email” and that “nobody should deal with people like us.” When I came to collect the car the owner repeatedly told me “the door is there” and refused to speak with me. The car was put to its original state and we were certainly not looking for a free job and were willing to pay for inspection. This was discriminatory, unprofessional, and distressing for our entire family. We strongly advise others, particularly non-UK nationals, to avoid this garage. Also, make sure they include VAT in the price they quote you over the phone! No customer deserves to be treated this way.

I used to love this garage and was finally a garage i thought i could trust and have a good experience with. Not anymore, the woman behind the reception was incredibly rude. I know i have an old car that needs some work doing to it but i don’t expect to be talked to like i’m an idiot or for someone to assume my circumstances and question me on it. I asked if i could source parts myself to keep costs down to be told no, fair enough the garage may not want to put themselves at risk, and i get that, however for her to then question me like i’m an idiot and tell me to do that would be stupid is unacceptable. For her to then follow up by trying to sell me a van after saying i should trade my car in for one, to then follow up again by saying “but we wouldn’t take yours” and start laughing is incredibly rude! I will not be using this garage again purely because of how rude the receptionist is, and I will be telling others not to either.
