Brilliant Service Allan Aird from the Ayr BYD arnold clark was so helpful from the moment I put down my deposit to the day of collection. I had a few questions after I received my video preview. Allan answered all these questions and made sure to check in with me regularly between deposit and collection. Allan listened to my previous bad experiences and made sure that I was 100% happy with the car i was buying. Allan took me ok a test drive and once all the paperwork was done sat with me in the car to make sure I knew what everything did and made sure I was going to have a safe drive home. I did travel 4 hours to collect and 4 hours home, rather than waiting for delivery. Worth the drive to be able to deal with Allan face to face. Would absolutely contact Allan again when looking for my next car.
A great experience, hassle free with professional, courteous staff who listened to my requirements, when selling my current vehicle and purchasing a replacement car on a lease deal. If the franchise improved the IT connectivity in the showroom I would give a cube star rating.
I would like to give Gurminder Rai a big thank you for being so kind and informative. He was able to explain all our queries and was very knowledgeable on all the cars being sold at Arnold Clark. He made my part exchange deal very easy and there was a smooth transition to my new vehicle. I will be recommending Gurminder to family members.
Our car was in the bodyshop for over 4 weeks whilst they carried out repairs. We were given false information regarding the timescale and the procedure of the repair. We believe this was an excessive timescale and were given conflicting information regarding the way our car was repaired. We were also informed that the delay was due to a gas leak, then later told it was because asbestos had been found within the building, this information also worries me considering the length of time my vehicle was in the building and was not valeted before it was released. The workmanship on the car was poor, we brought this to the managers attention who said he'd get the car back in but were told they did not have a hire/courtesy car suitable for our needs at the time. We've now waited 2 weeks, contacted the manager, left voicemails on 2 occasions (Mon 9th March and Tuesday 10th March) but are still awaiting a response as of March 17th
Jordan looked after us from the start. He gave us good deal. Gave us great advice and looked after us through the whole process. When we were left with no car he sorted us out. He kept us updated regularly until the car was delivered. Excellent overall. Would highly recommend the guys at Arnold Clark Volkswagen
