This is the second time I’ve bought a car from Arnold Clark in Morecambe. The sales team are extremely knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy. The cars are really reasonably priced and part exchange is extremely competitive compared with other garages and online car services. I would highly recommend them and will be looking for my next car purchase there when the time comes
I could cry should off know something was wrong Bought-on the Sunday was to pick it up on the Monday Was on my way driven over to pick it up when we got a call on the Monday to say they lost the keys to my new car By this time my old car insurance was running out that night as everything was changeing over to my new Clio as I was trading my old Clio in so we still had to go there to drop that car off which was fine So we where told they where getting new keys so plan was to pick up my new car the next day on Tuesday once again got a call around 4pm still couldn’t find the keys and never had the new set made by this point I was starting to worry They did offer my a Courtesy car but it was a Automatic I said I’ve never drove one so no it’s okay he then said it’s just like driving a gocart I said I’ve I’ve never drove one of them So I just left it they said they never had a manual one to use So the sale guy rayan was off the Wednesday so my husband had to take me to work on that day an pick me up Even tho he works also so he had to finsh early to come get me also Thursday morning So the plan was to pick the car up Thursday evening afternoon I got a call to say they found my keys in a other car that was sold that day so my car was ready So went over to pick the car up never got a test drive before we got the car but they had to take it on a test drive by them self for 2 miles before we got it With out us there when he got back we signed paperwork payed £4000 deposit on it still £6000 on the car to pay they took us to my car which I love drove it home went to work the next day and the noise started coming from it revs go up to number 2 when I stop the car loud ticking noise coming from the engine car is jerking also with the revs car now has to back to Arnold Clark on the Tuesday next week but getting dropped off Monday So now I’ve no car no money to sort out something in the meantime I could cry my savings gone and I work full time we really really could off done with out all this I really am gutted just want to give the car back an cancel everything
Update. Have now collected my gorgeous new car and I love it. The hand over was so easy and user friendly. Ben was on hand to finalise paperwork and Gary showed me the settings and features of the car. Even offered us a top up on the coffee. And Ben, bless him, dropped off the charger cable I left at the show room. Can't recommend the guys enough. Brilliant service, they make buying a car effortless and a joy. Thank you Ben and Gary 😀 Had a test drive, purchase a used ev. Great service. Ben was fantastic. Very patient with all my questions as never had an ev or driven automatic before. Got a very good part exchange for my car. Looking forward to picking up next week.
Bought the car on the Sunday went to pick it up on the Monday couldn’t pick my car up they had lost the keys to my car they found the keys in a other car on the Thursday put £4000 down on the car which leaves me £6000 to pay never got to test drive it also trade my car in which I got £550 for on the Monday everything was changeing over to my new car insurance etc on the Monday so had no car no log book also I’ve never bought a car before in Arnold Clark got car home now I’ve done 20 miles in it and it’s making loads of noses revs on car go up to 2 when parked then down to 1 the back 2 plus really load ticking noises coming from car engine car is to be dropped off on Monday night at aronld Clark to be looked at I feel like crying I’ve no car for work
Always a friendly warm welcome when you arrive at site. This is my 4th BMW from Arnold Clark . I deal with Grant Aires. A real professional, he listens carefully explains everything thoroughly , answers any questions or doubts you may have, feels more like talking to a good friend . No pressure, no tactics.
