Posted again as my emails to Arnold Clark customer service have been ignored. I recently left a great review for… This is an update to the review below….over a week on and still no response from customer service so I have just had to fork out over £600 for replacement egr valve even though I believe the part is covered under warranty. I like my Tucson but would never buy another as I could not trust Arnold Clark with the after care. I recently left a great review for their Glasgow branch however their Linwood paisley branch has to be the worst after service ever. On 3 occasions now, today being the latest, I have attended in relation to a warning light. The first 2 times they told me they were too busy and it would be at least a month before they could see me. Today was in relation to an engine management light so not something minor. Firstly, I asked if anyone could check to see if it was something that was covered with warranty and that was refused again saying they couldn’t look at it till late may, early July. I asked to speak to one of the mechanics to give me advice to whether it was safe to drive or cause more damage. Again, they refused.. long story short, I had to take it to an independent garage who diagnosed the fault in 5 minutes as an egr valve which will cost me £650. So even though this is probably covered by warranty, I cannot risk driving it for well over a month as I need it for work. I stay right next to this branch and their advice was to take it to Kilmarnock….30 miles away. That is now 3 times this branch has declined to repair my car, every time saying they are too busy. My intention was to have it repaired then buy another but not now. I will never deal with this branch again. The reply a got below is a bit late as I already contacted customer service. First by phone and got no reply and then by email and again they have not responded. I find it amazing that when you speak to the receptionist in store, they are very dismissive and refuse to help or let you speak to anyone, yet once a poor review is left on trustpilot, they want to help. Too late anyway as I have had to order the part myself at some considerable cost. I will update this if anyone ever gats back to me with a positive response. Carla Williams at the bolton show room was fantastic and very friendly and professional. This made choosing, buying and organizing my new car simple and enjoyable. The stock the store had was a wide variety and something for everyone. I found several cars and with the help from Carla I was able to find the perfect match. The branch was spotless and friendly wna d had a welcoming feel to it. Excellent experience and will be doing this again next time round.
My experience buying my new (used) car was straightforward start to finish. I seen the car online and was then put in contact with Ryan from the bathgate branch. He sent over a video of the car & we spoke over the financials. He listened and was understanding. I then went over to the branch and Ryan was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He spoke me through all the paper work & what i needed to know. He then kindly showed me the logistics of the new car as it was completely different from my previous car. Everything so far as been straight forward and I am now enjoying getting used to my new car! Thanks again to Ryan!
Didn't get the price I wanted for my trade in which was very disappointing it was definitely worth much more than I was offered.sales guy Darren was a lovely guy he did what he could for me I got a decent deal on my new car process from start to finish was fully explained
