TilfordOur company grew out of a passion for great driving machines and modern classics. It is primarily the cars which were produced from the 1970s to the 1990s that really excite us - a time where emission controls, noise levels, security features and miles of wire for the electronics were not an issue for car manufacturers. This resulted in light agile machines that were not only highly manoeuvrable but which also displayed great individual character creating real feedback and emotion for the driver. That is not to say they all drove with great poise but what those models lacked in agility they certainly made up for in looks, individuality and technological equipment.

EQUIPMENT: Blu Sera metallic paintwork, Nero leather upholstery, 16inch alloy wheels, Twinturbocharged 2.8litre V6 engine, 5speed manual transmission, Air conditioning, Electric sports seats, Electric windows, Electric door mirrors, Wood inlays, Woodrimmed steering wheel, Wooden gear knob, Leather dash and centre console, Analogue dash clock, Alpine cassette radio, Privacy glass, Maserati floor mats, Spare key. EXTERIOR: Immaculately presented in its original Blu Sera hue, this low mileage Ghibli II looks fantastic against our studio backdrop and it certainly doesn't disappoint up close. The paint finish is excellent throughout with absolutely no scuffs, scrapes, or dings. Looking along both sides of the car, all the panels are straight and true with perfect shut lines. The contrasting grey window trims, bumper inserts, and grilles are also firstrate, and none of the lights are cracked or damaged. Filling the arches are the original 7spoke alloy wheels all in perfect, unmarked condition having previously been refurbished to the highest standard. INTERIOR: The sumptuous Ghibli interior is a feast for the senses with deeply bolstered sports seats and lashings of wood trim. Soft Nero leather extends along the centre console and across the dash where you'll find surprisingly solid switchgear and that trademark analogue clock. With only 55k miles under its belt, the whole cabin is very well presented with no notable wear to the front or rear seats. In line with the age of the car there is some discolouration to the original chequered carpets but otherwise they are well protected in the footwells by a complete set of Maseratiembroidered mats. ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION: Boasting twin watercooled IHI turbochargers and dual airtoair intercoolers, the Ghibli's 'quadcam' 24valve 2.8litre V6 produces an impressive 284hp and 305lbft of torque. Visually, the engine bay doesn't disappoint either. Since 2017 the car has been looked after solely by marque specialists, Emblem Sportscars, with whom the current owner has spent an eyewatering £24k on maintenance. Despite few miles driven, the car has been treated to a thorough shakedown in recent years and additionally benefits from a new clutch and release bearing, rear main seal, cambelt, auxiliary belts, camshaft covers and gaskets, heater matrix, rear shocks, brake pads and discs, tyres, etc. all within the last 1,500 miles. HISTORY: Production of this beautiful Blu Sera over Nero example was completed in February 1994. The car resided on the saltfree roads of Japan from new until 2015 when it was acquired by an enthusiast in the Netherlands. In 2017 it was imported into the UK by the current owner as part of his large private collection of classic Italian sports cars and motorcycles. Unlike many exJapan cars, this particular example is accompanied by a raft of invoices and inspection reports dating right back to 1994, further verifying the low mileage. Since arriving in the UK all maintenance has been carried out by a reputable Ferrari/Maserati specialist who have gone through the car significantly, bringing it up to the fine condition in which it now presents. The accompanying paperwork includes Japanese service history, UK invoices totalling more than £26k, MOT certificates, an original spare key, and the current V5C registration document showing only 1 UK keeper.
