Belfast1980 Triumph Dolomite 1300, Super Condition Inside & Out MOT Exempt, Free Road Tax.Another rare little gem in superb condition throughout, a brilliant 4 door saloon ready to use, an ideal starter classic, or just to add to your collection. On the road, she drives well with a quiet engine that pulls strongly. The gearbox operates smoothly with no unusual noises, and the brakes, suspension, and steering are all in good condition. The exterior is in excellent condition, with bright, glossy paintwork and good shiny chrome, wheels, hubcaps and tyres. The interior is equally as impressive, the seats, carpets, door cards, and dashboard are in great order, with a little wear on the drivers seat bolster, not uncommon in these. The engine bay, boot and underside are also in good order, reflecting the overall quality of the car, with nothing evident that would cause concern.Currently in Northern Ireland, she comes with a standard UK V5, so can be driven anywhere in the UK with no need for reregistration or import duties. Its long term ownership in Northern Ireland also makes it suitable for export to the Republic of Ireland.Delivery can be arranged anywhere in the UK or Ireland at very reasonable rates. Please keep in mind she is 46 years old and not to be compared to your modern 2, 3 or even 10 year old daily driver. That said, she is in very good order and I am not aware of anything requiring attention beyond normal routine servicing.Introduced in 1972 as a compact sporting saloon from Triumph, part of British Leyland. It evolved from earlier models like the 1300, 1500 and Toledo, moving to a simpler rear wheel drive layout while offering a more upmarket feel with better trim, twin headlights and improved equipment. It was aimed at buyers who wanted something a bit more refined and sporty than the average family saloon, competing with cars like the BMW 2002. Early versions used a 1.85 litre slant four engine, with smaller engine options added later as the range expanded. The standout model was the Dolomite Sprint, launched in 1973. It featured a 2.0 litre 16 valve engine, one of the first of its kind in a mass produced car, giving strong performance for the time and making it a genuine enthusiasts choice.Production continued until 1980, when it was replaced by the Triumph Acclaim. Today, the Dolomite is remembered as one of the last traditional Triumph saloons, HPI CHECK. No known outstanding finance, mileage discrepancies, or insurance records of damage or theft.DELIVERY. We can arrange delivery anywhere in the UK or Ireland at very reasonable rates.ABOUT ME.
