Another one of our main dealer part exchanges,This one collected from prestige dealership in Sheffield.Just over 58 miles back, and a nearly a whole hour drive back, another proper test drive !Don't you just love free fuel?Jumping into a car and finding enough free " get you home fuel"Makes a change as trade ins are usually on the red, so a good introduction to a well loved car.Absolutely no issues with the drive back, car gets to temperature, drove back really well jumping straight onto the dual carriage way, before stint on the single snaking roads.No funny noises or silly lights in the dash, and there's a feeling of SO much space.... MECHANICALS:As said, a good drive back, no knocking from the suspension, all nice and quiet, engine sounds well, pulls even better.The 5 speed gearbox changes almost seamlessly through the gears.No rattles from the dual mass or clutch.The 1.6 petrol engine , thats in almost every ford, does works well and returns good mpg,I got just over 50.4 mpg on the way back, including town driving and static traffic... EXTERIOR:The Focus is finished in a really nice, mid blue, grey pearl effect that does sparkle in the sunshine.A quick machine polish has brought it back to life and it does look well please see the photos.Obviously it's a 13 year old car, and has probably been a kids taxi and school runner in its life.BUT for a car of this age its pretty much unmarked.Obviously a couple of chips to the front, a tiny mark on the front passenger bumper, but touched in, a few marks on the rear bumper from loading A slight dent to the rear passenger wheel arch...and err thats about it.Alloys have minimal marks, but do look good from 5ft away..Probably one one of THE straightest 14 year old Focus's you're likely to find !!The previous owner has obviously taken care of this car...Apart from these very minor issues, you probably can't even see them in the photos, the car does look really well.... INTERIOR:Finished in a dark charcoal and light grey material, it has stood the test of time well,The seats have been looked after, and just needed a quick shampoo to bring them back to life, the carpets have all hoovered up well, and as mentioned there is just a feeling in the car of"" higher quality materials"" almost prestige.The drivers seat has a very bt of a pull on the seat panel , but looks to have been " repaired" in the past, and thats about the only damage on the interior.The boot has obviously been used, and is slightly marked, nothing a boot liner wouldn't hide, just trying to be honest and upfront. ... FEATURES: Aircon, Heated front screen, Bluetooth prep, Electric windows all round, Electric folding mirrors, Remote central locking, DAB Radio with cd and aux, Alloys wheels, Multi function steering wheel, Front driving lamps, Auto lights, Auto wipers...
