Ford Sierra 1986 (D) RS Cosworth 3dr

1986 Ford Sierra RS Cosworth. This car has only covered 58000 miles. We have the V5 , two sets of keys, original handbook and a folder with receipts and old MOTs going back to 1997 which appear to back up the mileage. Its had 12 owners, with the current owner having had it since 2019. He wants to sell as he is thinning down his collection a bit. This car was stolen / recovered way back in 1990 and is noted when you do an HPI or similar. It does not have any CAT markers, just the stolen recovered. This may mean its not for you. We have priced it accordingly.Body Nice straight , good looking car. Panel gaps are all good. Paintwork is very nice. Few very minor marks as you would expect but no nasty dings or dents. Very minor bubbling just above windscreen and below osr roof gutter. This is very minor but only right to point out. The car is solid underneath and we have just motd it prior to listing it. Its got an additional lip and lower spoiler fitted at the rear to look like a 500. Lovely looking , honest useable example.Mechanics Car starts and runs well. Good brakes clutch and gearbox. Head was removed and new gasket, some valves replaced etc in 2022 at a specialist. only done a few hundred miles since. Everything works and as previously mentioned just MOTd. New rear brake pressure regulator was fitted for mot and a couple of loose driveshaft bolts tightened up. Has had some aftermarket bits under the bonnet, such as header tank etc. Uprated coil, stainless exhaust and koni suspension according to the history folder.Interior Good front seats, door cards, headling is good. Carpet is also Ok. rear seat has one small tear but its underneath where the set belt latch sits so barely visble. Couple ofn the usual cracks in the dash around the speaker and vents area.Wheels Original wheels x 5 with good Toyo tyres. Wheels have been refurbished at some point and have lost the ford script on centre caps , but otherwise are good with no kerbing. This is a tidy useable example, its not a concours show queen as they are 70k plus. Feel free to come and see the car. We have a ramp so you can look underneath. Delivery can be arranged if required.
