Ford Escort 1996 (N) RS 2000 4x4 3dr

1996 Ford Escort RS2000 4x4. First registered at Dalblair of Ayr to a local owner. Its now had 6 previous owners. We have the V%, original handbooks and service book with 6 stamps. It has 3 keys with one of them a red key. The car comes MOTD till August 2026. Its recently been used a bit and has covered a couple of thousand miles recently. It starts runs and drives well and can be driven away. Body RS2000 4x4 shell. Owner recently gad sill covers off too inspect sills and confirmed they are ok. Sill lips are ok but would benefit from a wire brush and underseal. rear chassis legs are still ok. One small bit on front of floor looks like it might need abit attention in the future. Car looks decent in the pics, but does have a few cosmetic issues. Bit of lacquer peel on rear spoiler, paint chipped and bubbling along top of windscreen. Bubbling on osr arch. Also a bit of pinky paint fade in places. none of it is horrendous but if you wanted a minter you will be into a paintjob. Small crack in windscreen but not in swept area. Mechanics Car starts runs and drives very well. Engine, gearbox, clutch and brakes are all good. Recently serviced, rear brakes all renewed a couple of years ago. Heater blower was recently fixed as were the electric windows. Now all working as they should be.Interior Correct interior which is all in good order with no rips or tears. Original radio still fitted.Wheels Original alloys x 4 and space saver in boot as smaller boot well on 4x4 model. tyres have only done a few hundred miles.These are getting quite rare being the 4x4 model. This one is mechanically very good and if someone does the cosmetics youll have a good example. Nice ones are regularly fetching well over 10k now and will continue to rise for sure. you are welcome to come and see the car. We have a ramp so you can inspect underneath.
