Following a 16 year hiatus the GTR was revived in 1989 under the 'R32' nameplate, only this time the GTR came with a beefy 2.6 litre twin turbocharged engine capable of producing 276bhp and packing yet more advanced technology for its time including the ATTESA ETS all wheel drive system, allowing it to dominate Group A racing in Japan and Australia.In 2007 Nissan unveiled the much anticipated 'R35' GTR, marking a significant change from previous generations by introducing the 3.8 litre twin turbocharged V6 engine, producing a blistering 480bhp and utilising an improved version of the popular ATTESA ETS all wheel drive system as well as introducing a dual clutch transmission and sophisticated vehicle dynamics control system.
