To aid parking, this car has Fords excellent park distance control with both front and rear sensors making light work of fitting the SMax into the tightest of spaces. Whilst this is undoubtedly a large car, it seems to shrink around you once on the move. Sharp power steering and precise, controllable handling ensure that every journey in the SMax will be an absolute pleasure. I have never driven an MPV which was so engaging a drive, or indeed as enjoyable as this car. I drove the SMax over 350 miles prior to writing this advert and found it to be an accomplished motorway cruising companion.
