Ford Cortina 1978 3.0S

0 Previous Owners, Here we have a superb Genuine Ford Cortina Mk4 3.0S. We brought this car in from South Africa in 2021. We sold it to the current owner. It was already a very good car, but he has vastly improved it and turned it into what you see in the pics. It starts, runs and drives very well, ticks over as it should, and everything works. It sounds the dogs danglers as well. We have the V5 here for the car. It also been upgraded top a 5 speed gearbox.Body Genuine 3.0S south African built cortina as shown on the build plate. This car is solid underneath and has never had any welding. There is no signs of any rust. The current owner had it repainted in its original Silver colour and it looks really good. It has the correct S decals fitted and black rear panel. Original black bumpers are also nice and straight.Mechanics 3.0 Essex engine fires up no problem at all and runs very well. The car has been fully serviced recently and runs very well. the auto choke works as it should. It ticks over either hot or cold. No clunks or rattles. Exhaust looks to have been replaced fairly recently. As mentioned the gearbox has been upgraded to a 5 speed. Interior All original inside with its blue seats, again as shown on the build plate. no rips or tears. Very clean tidy car inside. Good headlining and dashtop.Wheels 6 inch JBW RS4 spokes with very recent 185/70/13 tyres This is a lovely example of a very rare model. I dont think theres more than about a dozen of them in the UK and this is up there with the best of them. You are welcome to come and see the car.
