MECHANICALS:As said, a good drive back, no knocking from the suspension, all nice and quiet, engine sounds well, pulls even better.The 6 speed gearbox changes almost seamlessly through the gears.No rattles from the dual mass or clutch.The 1.6 TDCi engine , thats in almost every ford does works well and returns crazy mpg,I got just over 60.4 mpg on the way back, including town driving and static traffic... EXTERIOR:The Focus is finished in a really nice, mid blue, grey pearl effect that does sparkle in the sunshine.A quick machine polish has brought it back to life and it does look well please see the photos.Obviously it's a 13 year old car, and has probably been a kids taxi and school runner in its life.BUT for a car of this age its pretty much unmarked.Obviously a couple of chips to the front, a tiny mark on the front passenger bumper, but touched in, a bit few marks on the rear bumper from loading and err thats about it.Probably one one of THE straightest 12 year old estates you're likely to find !!The previous owner has obviously taken care of this car...Apart from these very minor issues, you probably can't even see them in the photos, the car does look really well.... INTERIOR:Finished in a dark charcoal material, it has stood the test of time well,The seats have been looked after, and just needed a quick shampoo to bring them back to life, the carpets have all hoovered up well, and as mentioned there is just a feeling in the car of" higher quality materials" almost prestige.The drivers seat has a very bt of grazing on the seat panel , and thats about the only damage on the interior.The boot has obviously been used, and is slightly marked, nothing a boot liner wouldn't hide, just trying to be honest and upfront. ... TYRES:The car has good tyres on it: OSF 3.4mm, OSR 5.2mm, NSF 3.2mm, NSR 5.1mm, Spare is a space saver, looks unused.... SERVICE HISTORY:The car has a good service history,There are 5 stamps in the book, 20142018.Last owner from November 2018 to present, yet only 3 invoices.HOWEVER, there is the all important cambelt and water pump invoice, 22/02/2024 at 134730 miles.Last service invoice is 28/06/2025 at 154402 miles, so just over 6k miles ago.. RUNNING COSTS:The car costs less than meal for 2 in spoons to tax for a whole year at just 20 pounds for 12m tax,The car does 76mpg on a run, or 55 mpg around town,Insurance is group 16...
