Main dealer serviced in October 2025Low mileage and owner exampleThe Maybach brand is named as such for Wilhelm Maybach, an engineer for Gottlieb Daimler, who designed combustion engines at the turn of the 20th century. Wilhelm left Daimler in 1907 and developed the Maybach brand, which was known for their large, powerful and very luxurious automobiles. Maybach catered to the exclusive and wealthy up until World War II. After the war, automobile production never restarted. DaimlerBenz purchased the company in 1960, however left the name mostly dormant until recently. At the time of the mid 1990's, the new merger entity of DaimlerChrysler sought to produce the most luxury automobile for the turn of the century. Utilising MercedesBenz' long tradition of quality and luxury, the Maybach brand was revived as the pinnacle in automotive luxury. Powered by a MercedesBenz twin turbocharged V12 engine producing 543bhp at 5250rpm with 664 lbft of torque at 2300rpm, performance for this ultraluxury saloon is 060 mph in 5.1 seconds with a top speed electronically limited to 155 mph; remarkable for such a luxurious limousine. Factory options include retractable folding rear tables left and right, whilst standard options include 19 inch wheels, electrically controlled Airmatic dual control air suspension, full rear cabin audio controls, dual 9.5 inch flat screen monitors with headphones, 600 Watt 21 speaker Bose surround sound system, heated steering wheel, dynamic multicontour heated seats with massage feature, Alcantara headliner, wine chiller and beverage holder in rear console. Each Maybach utilised the very best automotive technology and safety available and exploited the quality of MercedesBenz with the highest level of detail and craftsmanship using fine wood trim lines and supple Nappa leather.First registered in 2009, a late production 57, this example in the rarer Capsian Black with matching black leather interior comes with all the usual refinements and options expected for the Maybach 57 model. Used sparingly by the present owner and always garaged, this Maybach represents everything that the marque offered and more!
