The history of this revolutionary motorcar is well known, and its cultural, social, and mechanical impact is well documented. On its introduction, the Mini was marketed by Morris as the Morris MiniMinor and by Austin as the Austin Seven; the latter until 1961 when it was rebranded the Austin Mini. (Mini later became a marque in its own right in 1969.) Early Minis have become particularly sought after, with 1959 and 1960 examples difficult to find in good condition.This fullyrestored Austin Seven Mini is one of the earliest production examples, having first been registered in October 1959. Its first two owners were cousins, meaning the car was in singlefamily ownership until 2013, when our vendor purchased it. Finished in Speedwell Blue, with a cream and red leatherandcloth interior, the car was restored comprehensively and to a very high standard, concluding in 2020. A complete photographic record of the restoration is available on request. This Mini is one of the earliest youre likely to find on sale, and presented in truly fantastic condition, with a history thats hard to match.
