Morris Minor 1966

Britain's answer to the Beetle, the Morris Minor has long been a staple of the classic car scene and a favourite amongst enthusiasts. Providing a great value, fun classic car experience, the Morris Minor makes for a good usable classic benefitting from tax and MOT exemption, and this 1966 Minor 1000 is no exception. First registered 1966 this later "1000" Minor was originally a standard saloon that has been converted to the desirable convertible form to a very good standard. Cosmetically the car presents as fundamentally OK, arguably usable in its current form, there are some areas of blemishing and bubbling in places starting to make themselves known that may benefit from attention down the line if you wish to recommission the Minor to show standard, though it remains a thoroughly charming and striking car as is. The roof itself folds, stows and latches nicely and presents in good order throughout. The interior remains a lovely places to be, with nice upholstery and just general wear and tear commensurate with age. Mechanically the Morris appears well. We have taken it for a short drive around our farm and it performed well; starting, running, driving and stopping. This being said, as the car has been in storage for some time, a general going over would be advised prior to a full return to the road.
