The 1965 Morris Mini Cooper is a British motoring icon, celebrated for its compact size, sharp handling, and racing pedigree. Designed by Alec Issigonis, it combined clever packaging with spirited performance, making it practical yet thrilling. Its transverse engine and frontwheel drive transformed car design worldwide. On road and rally stages alike, the Mini Cooper proved that small cars could deliver big personality. Today it remains beloved by enthusiasts for its charm, simplicity, and timeless, unmistakably cheerful character worldwide.This delightful Mini Cooper was supplied new by Stewart and Arden of Staines in July 1965 and presents wonderfully in the desirable colour combination Surf Blue with a white roof and is fitted with the optional extra of a heater. This superb Cooper retains its original floors, sills and subframes, none of which appear to have been patched up. This example has benefitted in recent years from being totally refreshed, including the replacement of most of the brightwork and attention to mechanicals, paintwork and interior. The car is also fitted with wider wheels and Yokohama tyres. It is believed that the indicated mileage is correct, as we know, that due to an owners bereavement, the car spent a long time in storage.
