Introduced to the public in 1993, the handsome new DB7 was Aston Martin's first sixcylinder model since production of the DB6 Mk. II finished in 1971. Styled by Ian Callum, its lines were evocative of earlier Aston Martin models and elements of the DB4/5/6 can be seen in the design. Arguably one of the nicestlooking cars ever produced by Aston Martin, the DB7 was well received and attracted new customers worldwide with its traditional layout of the curvaceous twodoor coupe body and robust sixcylinder engine. Power was supplied by an allalloy double overhead camshaft, supercharged, 24 valve inline sixcylinder engine which produced 335bhp at 5750rpm.
