Riley 1.5 1954 RME

0 Previous Owners, Incredibly stylish and advanced for the era, the Riley RM series of cars were a truly fine presentation of post war, pre BMC Riley at their best. and ones that are becoming an increasingly rare sight in the modern day. This 1954 RME is being offered to market for the first time in nearly 60 years, having been under long term enthusiast ownership since 1968. Coming from long term dry storage it can now be seen as an exciting and seldom offered opportunity to recommission a rare post war Riley. Finished in green with complementing colour matched upholstery, this would have truly been something in its day. Now, following long term storage it will require some cosmetic work to bring it up to the standard it deserves and rectify the blemishing/corrosion/tarnishing that is making itself known throughout. Mechanically this car is being sold as a non runner. Both the engine and brakes are free, however we have not endeavoured to go any further than this and get the car running. Accompanied by a nice volume of period literature, the older and more current style registration books and the interesting registration mark "999 BEV"
