Wolseley Hornet 1968 MK3 2Door

1968 Wolseley Hornet MK3 Automatic .This is a lovely older restoration... Restored by a gentleman for his wife, who sadly passed after soon after it was finished , then sold to a long standing customer of mine .. What is unusual about this car, is that when it was restored , it was fitted with an Automatic transmission , for his wife, who couldn't drive a manual. This option was never available from the factory, which makes the Wolsely very rare indeed .. The car presents very well, showing only 36,000 miles ,which is believed genuine .,and drives beautifully .Many original parts were kept during the restoration , including the original leather seats , which look and smell beautiful, bringing back a lot of childhood memories .This particular car was featured in Classic and Sportscar Magazine, a copy of which comes with the car .Around 30,000 of these Hornets were built between 1961 and 1969.
