BMW 2002 1972

The "02" series of BMWs are perhaps one of the marque's greatest hits. Wonderfully stylish and incredibly collectible, restored examples are becoming incredibly sought after, making this 1972 2002 an vastly appealing and alluring opportunity to acquire a thoroughly rare RHD BMW with great potential. An earlier example with the desirable round rear light setup, this UK car is being offered to market as an ideal winter project for someone looking to get into classic BMW ownership with a lesser seen and highly respected model. Following an extended period dormant in storage, the 2002 is going to require some cosmetic work to bring the glorious deep red bodywork back to life. There are areas of corrosion that will need rectifying as to be expected, but as highlighted in the accompanying photos, a great deal of the car looks to be fundamentally OK still. The interior is in much the same form, showing signs of wear and tear commensurate with age and long term storage. Mechanically this car is being sold as a non runner.
