Charming Older Restoration - Tax & MOT Exempt

Car location
Trimms GreenA classic British fastback and a prime example of a marque in their golden era. The Triumph GT6 is a truly remarkable thing. Often hailed as the "baby E-Type" thanks to its styling and dynamic ability the GT6 has become a thoroughly sought after classic car in recent years and this 1972 car is a charming example of the breed. Offering an enticing tax and MOT exempt entry into classic car ownership.A late MK3 example this older restoration presents as a fundamentally good example, usable in its current form or one that with TLC could become a true stand out show piece. Originally a red car, it has been stripped down to its bare shell and extensively restored and refinished in this very fitting baby blue colour scheme with a large selection of photographs to hand documenting the project.Today the car stands in good form aesthetically, with signs of blemishing and bubbling starting to make themselves known in places. The interior is in much the same form, remaining a nice place to be with general signs of wear and tear commensurate with age.Mechanically the GT6 appears well. We have taken it for a short test drive around our farm and it performed nicely; running, driving and stopping. Though having seen limited use in recent years a general going over would be beneficial prior to a full return to the road.Accompanied by a nice volume of service history.Registration for the car is "AUF 169K"
