A true status symbol and legendary pony car, the Ford Mustang needs little introduction.An early 6 cylinder example with some tasteful custom touches and a striking repaint, this 1966 coupe of a thoroughly stand out example of the breed, ready for a new loving owner to enjoy over the upcoming spring and summer months.Arriving onto our shores circa 2018, this Mustang has had just 1 UK keeper. In 2019 it was subject to an extensive cosmetic restoration with a full repaint in "Moonstone" grey blue metallic paint and detailed with Shelby influenced twin racing stripes. Paired with a selection of other modifications and some general mechanical refresh work, it stands today as a lovely presentation of a classic Mustang.The exterior itself is fundamentally quite well, the bodywork is in good overall order with some lighter blemishing commensurate with age and some dulling to the paint finish in places. the accompanying chrome work is in good form and the interior is much of the same story, with good quality upholstery throughout and just lighter signs of wear and tear to be expected of a car of this heritage.Mechanically the Mustang appears in good shape. We have taken it for a short test drive and it performed nicely; starting, running. driving and stopping. Following limited use in longer term storage, a general going over would be recommended however.Fully UK registered with V5 document and a selection of service history.
