The Grancabrio MC Centennial Edition (Maserati Corse) is not simply a tweaked version of the Grancabrio, there are a number of significant improvements both aesthetically and mechanically. The MC is 48mm longer than the standard Grancabrio, has a redesigned bumper with high tailpipes and a pronounced extractor profile too. The boot lip spoiler is more pronounced and now incorporates the high-level third brake light. The bonnet incorporates two generous air outlets at the center to optimise cooling of the V8 engine, while two additional air outlets added in the front wings are used to cool the grooved and drilled brake discs. The headlights feature LEDs for the daytime running light (DRL) function. Additionally, the headlights move up to 15 degrees left and right as you turn the car, allowing you better vision of the inside corner of the road at nighttime. Black exterior details also heighten the aggressive look. The front seats have been redesigned and offer greater comfort while also providing significantly more leg room for rear passengers. The steering wheel was also redesigned with the rim flattened at the top and bottom for greater manoeuvrability. While developing the chassis of the new GranCabrio MC, Maserati engineers equipped it with single-rate dampers that guarantee greater rigidity, dual-cast braking technology and the much improved ZF MC Auto Shift gearbox to access the extra horsepower, up to 460BHP in this model. The MC design wheels are in Grigio Mercury with Blu Accents to complete the transformation.
