With a straight 6-cylinder engine of 1939cc and 4-speed manual gearbox, this car was sold as a high-quality sports saloon after the War. It has had titled ownership (Sir John Mellor and then his wife, Lady Mellor), which is an indication of how these Rovers were perceived, and the monogram survives today on the vehicles front doors albeit somewhat faded.
