Southwell.1967 Triumph TR4A IRS – UK Supplied, Right-Hand Drive with overdrive.A highly attractive example of the much-loved Triumph TR4A IRS, this 1967 car is a UK-supplied, right-hand-drive model, originally supplied new by Hollingdrake Auto Company Ltd of Stockport.Previously sold by Classicwise in 2017, the car has remained with the same enthusiast owner ever since, during which time it has been cherished and used exactly as intended. The accompanying history file is extensive and includes the Heritage Certificate, along with numerous restoration invoices and maintenance receipts, providing excellent provenance and continuity of care. Notably, the braking system was comprehensively overhauled in 2019.The bodywork was subjected to a full bare-metal restoration in the year 2000, creating a strong and well-finished foundation that continues to present well today, with good panel fit and a solid, confident feel on the road.In 2017, the car was further improved by TR Enterprises, who upgraded it with a desirable overdrive gearbox.
