0 Previous Owners, 1976 Ford Escort MK2 Automatic. RHD Import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid. NOVA declaration done and fully Uk Registered. This is a pretty original old car which needs a bit work, but will make a really nice car.Body - Mk2 Escort 4 Door Auto shell with big factory tunnel. Original inner wings, strut tops, arches, sills, floors, pillars. Generally very good underneath. Has had minor repairs in spare wheel wells which could do with being sorted again. Small repair repaired on outer nsf floor, but it is fairly small. Car previously had a bulkhead pad so needs a repair round the drain hole on the heater bubble. Paint is quite tidy and perfectly useable. Front bumper has a slight twist and some of the side trim is a bit marked / bruised. Overall though a very original good old shell.Mechanics - 1600 crossflow which runs well. Starter sometimes doesnt engage and would need replaced if keeping the auto box, which most wont. Brakes are good. Car feels quite tight but will need a good checkover before being used in anger. Interior - Brown cloth seats which are perfectly useable. Front seats are good. Rear have some sun damage on top. Front door cards have speaker holes. Carpet is worn through. Headlining is good, dashtop has a crack.Wheels - Original steels with centre caps and plastic nut coversThis car has great potential as it has the big tunnel and not really been got at or botched up before.
