Ford Escort 1977 - FAST ROAD / TRACK CAR

1977 Ford Escort RS2000 Fast Road / Track Car built by Den Motorsport in Ireland in 2020 for a customer and hardly used since. Its basically a full blown rally car without the cage or harnesses. This car is not cheap but is ready to go and we dont think you could build one for this price. The equivalent Fast Road / Track cars being built by MST, which we think are fantastic, start at around 82K. Comes with a current MOT and recently had an oil service. Body - MK2 Escort shell, seam welded, bigger tunnel, gussets, large diff tunnel, exhaust tunnel, turreted and 5 linked. fully painted metallic grey underneath, front arch liners fitted. Wide arches, front spoiler, carbon fibre look bootlid and bonnet, carbon fibre lightweight bumpers. 2 up 2 down spotlights, arch protectors, rally style mud flaps. Body is finished in a grey similar to Nardo grey , Im not sure the exact colour but can probably find out. Stunning looking car and hardly a mark on it. All rubbers etc look like new items. Mechanics - 2.0 Vauxhall red top engine with dry sump, Kent Cams, Throttle bodies, Lightened flywheel, competition clutch, uprated 5 speed type 9 gearbox. Coil overs front and rear, Alloy hubs, fully rose jointed front end, Vented discs and AP racing calipers all round, fly off hanbrake, bias pedal box, power steering, watts linkage, 5 links, LSD, rally tank in boot, fuel pumps, GRP 4 dry sump tank, GRP4 radiator, Interior - Flocked dashtop, ECU Master Digital dash, custom switch panel, bucket seats, custom rear seat, normal seat belts fitted, new door cards and rear quarter cards, carpet fitted, Momo suede steering wheel. Wheels - 15 " RWL Revolution Minilite style wheels with nearly new Toyo Proxy tyres. 215/45/15 on front and 225/50/15 on rear.This is a proper professionally built car and not to be confused with something that has been clattered together in the garage at the side of someones house.
