Aston Martin Rapide 2012 (62) - V12 4dr Touchtronic Auto

2 Previous Owners, 2012 Aston Martin Rapide Luxury Edition with 6.0L petrol engine, delivering 470hp. Front and rear parking sensors, heated and cooled front seats and Bang & Olufsen BeoSound audio system with rear seat video player.This car was bought by the owner of JVS about 18 months ago as a non-runner. After investigation, it was apparent the car had been driven through some water in Ireland, in October 2023 and had suffered a hydro-lock on the near side bank. JVS stripped the engine down, checked it out and found 2 broken connecting rods and two bent rods. There was no other damage to the block or valves. JVS replaced 6 rods. During the rebuild JVS have also replaced all the spark plugs and the coil packs and had all of the injectors checked and cleaned. Additionally we replaced the two front door struts, battery and gave the car a full service. Whilst the Engine was out we also removed the primary cats and replaced the clutch return spring. All fluids have been checked and the transmission oil has also been changed. The alloy wheels have been refurbished too. The car runs and drives fantastically well, sounds amazing and turns heads everywhere its driven. Now the bad bits!Theres zero history with the car over and above whats been documented above. The owner has considered a trip back to Ireland to see if it can be located! There is a dent in the drivers door and a little bubbling around one of the door handles. There is just one glass key and its missing a few buttons.
