Impressive service file. Low ownership. The 1972 Lotus Europa Twin Cam is a lightweight, mid-engine British sportscar celebrated for its sharp handling and innovative design. Powered by a 1.6 litre Lotus-Ford Twin Cam engine, it offered lively performance and impressive agility for the era. Fiberglass bodywork and a low, aerodynamic profile gave the Europa a distinctive look and excellent road manners. Though spartan inside, its driver-focused cockpit and superb balance made it a true enthusiasts machine, embodying Lotus founder Colin Chapmans simplify, then add lightness philosophy.This stylish Lotus was registered in June 1972 and presents in the classic Lotus JPS colours of black and gold with a contrasting beige interior. XHV 614 has benefitted from regular servicing and enthusiast ownership. The impressive file for this car contains many bills, receipts and previous MoT test certificates including the current one which is valid until October 2026, despite the cars exemption by age. Also present is an original owners handbook and V5C registration document. This low ownership example has been in our vendors tenure for the last 12 years and is now ready for a new owner.
