2 Previous Owners, 1971 Saab 99, currently showing 7000KM (presumed to be 107000KM), MOT and Tax exempt. Imported to the UK in 2019, this is a lovely early example of one of Sweden's most iconic classic cars. The car is in good condition throughout, the bodywork is particularly straight, with no noticeable dents or damage. It has however undergone a respray for a recent film role as evidenced in the photographs and would perhaps benefit from a return to its original shade of green which is still visible under the bonnet. Despite this, the car is still very much a fine looking car, all of the chrome and trim is in fantastic original condition and as already stated, the panels and metalwork are all in great shape, with no dents or visible rust. The interior is also in good, original condition, with just the two front seats requiring minimal repairs to the seams, the cloth and trim is in fine shape while the plastics and buttons remain in good, undamaged condition. The car also runs and drives wonderfully, and is more than capable of keeping up with modern traffic. These Saabs were very ahead of their time and continued to be made in mildly evolved forms for years after this one left the factory and this car is very much an example of that forward thinking.
