ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION: In July 2000, at 15 months old, the original 1275cc engine was treated to the John Cooper Garages 'S Works' conversion which enhanced the standard unit to produce approximately 90bhp an impressive 40% power increase over the standard Cooper. The work was carried out by John Cooper Garages in West Sussex and included a revised cylinder head, uprated camshaft, exhaust system, etc, etc. The car also received an individually numbered plaque (No. 0448Si) to confirm its authenticity. HISTORY: This beautiful example was originally supplied by Whichford Rover of Basingstoke in April 1999.
