He recently put it up for sale and realised it was too cheap, as he was inundated with dealers and buyers looking for a quick flip. Matching Hodgsons dealer window sticker, number plates and dealer wallet, dealer tax disc holder with an original tax disc from 1983.The car retains the original seam sealer on the body, inner wings, floorpan etc. The shell of the car only had NOS FORD wings fitted and a NOS passenger door because the owner had them. The rest has no replacement panels. The windows and rubbers are original and superb. Every nut and bolt was retained, and re-zinc plated or replaced with correct NOS . It retains the correct Kamax, GSF or Bosner UNF or Metric fasteners in the correct places.Body was stripped to shell and put on rotator and stripped back removing any surface rust, under seal and dirt. Floorpan was repainted in factory grey matching the original colour taken from the gearbox tunnel. The outer sills and wheel tubs were redone with 3M 08800 sprayable rubberised sealer then painted black. Shell was resprayed in a modern booth at a Ford dealership factory 2K Black XSC-632 as per colour code in boot. Nose cone retains the original finish on grill and bumper not painted.All genuine FORD NOS locks with full matching keys, door handles, inner and outer headlights, headlight mounts, adjusters, indicators, rear lights, door mirrors, genuine ford mudflaps, genuine ford 3M Silver stripe decal kit, RS2000 boot script, black boot lock, boot rubber seal. Nos Fog lamp. Motorcraft windscreen wipers. Correct courtesy light switches in the door check. The interior is the factory correct custom Fishnet Recaro chocolate brown betacloth. The front seats have been recovered in original betacloth obtained in Europe, The rear seats untouched and factory original. The owner obtained a genuine NOS custom deep pile carpet, exceptional door cards, handles, headlining, dashboard, clocks, glovebox, switchgear, parcel tray, rear parcel shelf, even has the correct sound deadening panel under the steering column. You will struggle to find fault.The running gear was subject to a full strip down, repainted in 2K satin black as factory and where possible also fitted NOS parts, such as Track control arms, steering joint, unobtainable front Sachs struts, front brake and rear brakes linings all NOS ford. New ATE master cylinder, reservoir and NOS reservoir low level switch, NOS servo vacuum angle connector. Reconditioned ate calipers, NOS Flexi pipes even a NOS ford steering rack. Brake pipes replaced as per the original pattern with Genuine Ford steel pipe and NOS retaining clips.Engine bay retains the original vin tags, chassis number on strut top and enhanced with areproduction foil Special vehicle order sticker. The original bulkhead sound deadening with air filter clearance dent remains in excellent condition for 44 years old (most are long gone or fiberglass reproduction and incorrect ) Nos Air filter housing, NOS Headlight switch Relay. Nos bonnet rubbers stops and side blocks.Original engine was blueprinted at JEM engines. Standard camshaft remains, Jem reconditioned injection head was fitted for unleaded fuel . new HP oil pump, NOS fuel pump, reconditioned original 32/36 DGAV carb remains. Ceramic coated RS exhaust manifold still showing RS script and not worn away with NOS ford heat shield. Standard steel exhaust system with twin down pipe. Original coil, NOS HT leads, motorcraft spark plugs, points, condenser. NOS Bosch distributor. Standard 4 Speed gearbox as it came from the factory, standard RS quickshift with NOS Ford clutch kit, NOS Clutch cable, new bearings in gearbox, NOS gearbox mount. NOS propshaft center bearing with reconditioned UJ joints. Painted in Satin black. Excellent condition Standard Rear Axle with original 3.54 diff all painted in satin black, excellent back plates, NOS handbrake cable, replated brake adjusters. Grey genuine motorcraft rear shocks. RS tramp bars as came from factory all in 2K satin black.Inside rear boot retains original mint custom carpet covering the spare wheel with original Jack, bag and wheel brace, Original sound deadening under carpet.Correct RS alloys diamond cut with new Pirelli CN36 spare has a mint original CN36fitted.
