Auctioned on Saturday 29th November.

1 Previous Owner, This lot will be auctioned via Historics Classic and Sportscar Auctioneers at The Brooklands Velocity; Mercedes-Benz World sale on Saturday 29th November. One former keeper and cherished for over 25 years. Low mileage. Last year of production Cooper 1.3. The Mini Cooper was launched in July 1961; powered by a 997cc engine, it gave way to a succession of ever quicker variants, culminating in the 1275 'S' in 1964. Twice winner of the Monte Carlo rally, this uber-Mini became another casualty of British Leyland in 1971. Almost twenty years later, encouraged by the reaction to a limited edition RSP (Rover Special Products) version, Rover put the Mini Cooper back into full-time production in September 1990. Upgraded with mono-point fuel injection the following season, its 1275cc four-cylinder engine gained a multi-point feed and front-mounted radiator in 1997. Despite these updates, the final Mini rolled off the assembly line in October 2000.This beautiful Mini Cooper was first registered on 14th February 2000 and is finished in Flame Red with white racing stripes and a cream interior along with a wooden dashboard. It was supplied by Seward, a Hampshire-based Mini dealer. Our vendor is a serial Mini owner, having owned several since 1975, before purchasing this one in August 2001 from a garage in Hampshire. She hadnt been looking to change her current car but when presented with this immaculate, low-mileage Mini she couldnt resist, and became the cars second owner. She used it as a daily driver until she retired in 2004 and subsequently put the car into semi-hibernation. We are informed that this Mini has always been well cared for, drives well and has been stored in a dry carport when not in use. It has been regularly maintained by the owners family mechanic and, in recent years, only used occasionally on dry days. It was recently driven to the MoT centre, passing with no advisories. This much-loved Mini is now ready for its next custodian and is supplied with a V5 registration document, new MoT test certificate until October 2026, book pack, invoices, and its original tools.
