Auctioned on Saturday 29th November.

This lot will be auctioned via Historics Classic and Sportscar Auctioneers at The Brooklands Velocity; Mercedes-Benz World sale on Saturday 29th November. Excellent condition following an extensive restoration. Tastefully and subtly upgraded. The new R33 Skyline GTR was launched in January 1995 with a base GTR and the V-Spec model, which offered a sportier suspension set-up resulting in lower ground clearance and featured the newer ATTESA E-TS Pro all-wheel drive system. This included an active limited-slip differential which, at the time, made it arguably the most technologically advanced production car in the world. The system was conceived in the 1990s for the JTCC to enable some 600bhp to be fed through the wheels and on to the racetrack efficiently. This example has been in the UK since 2005 and was subject to comprehensive restoration a few years ago. The car spent circa 10 years in storage prior to the restoration, so it was fully stripped down and rebuilt to an impressive standard. It is understood that the structural work, paintwork and underside restoration alone cost around £20,000. The rebuild consisted of refurbished brake calipers, new discs and pads all round, braided brake lines, new Whiteline anti-roll bars front and rear, HKS intakes, Koyo radiator, new silicone hoses throughout, EBC clutch, a carbon fibre cooling plate, Summit front strut brace, aluminium oil catch tank, a genuine Nismo gear knob, Garrett turbos, BC coilovers, genuine badges front and rear, full fluid change and a laser wheel alignment.Once the rebuild was complete, the car was taken to highly respected Horsham Developments who set about mapping the car on their dyno and setting up the Apexi power commander, the result being a healthy 490bhp on the stock ECU, without stressing the RB26 at all, we all know how capable they can be if pushed! The interior is all present and correct, with the seats in excellent condition and the factory fitted three Nismo gauges still in place, along with the ultra-rare factory GTR shagpile floor mats. This amazing GTR is supplied to auction with an MoT test certificate valid until May 2026, a V5 registration document and a dyno print out and invoice from Horsham Developments work.
