This variant combined the Defender’s rugged off-road capability with a suite of luxury features not previously available in the range.Standard on the XS were heated seats, a heated windscreen, part-leather upholstery, air conditioning, ABS and traction control. Further refinements included an improved dashboard layout with centre console, upgraded instrument illumination and, for the first time, front electric windows.
