A lovely autumn morning and Ive just taken this for a 50 mile drive along the County Down coastline. Out on the road shes smooth, quiet, and free of any untoward knocks or bangs and a real pleasure to drive, with an engine that pulls effortlessly and a gearbox that changes easily, making for a very enjoyable experience. With a large boot for your picnic table and chairs, shes perfectly capable of taking a family of four or five adults for a Sunday picnic or to your local weekend classic car show. The exterior is smart and presentable, with glossy paintwork and a great overall finish. The steel wheels are in good condition, complemented by equally good tyres.Inside, she is in great condition, a new carpet set adds to the charm, while the seats and door cards are in great condition too.The engine bay, boot, and underside are all tidy and well cared for, with nothing that appears to require immediate attention.Until recently, when her most recent owner passed away, she was MOTd every year despite being MOT exempt. She is accompanied by a British Motor Heritage Trust Certificate, along with a selection of invoices for work carried out during his last five or six years of ownership.Launched in 1961, the Wolseley 16/60 was the last and most refined of BMCs Farina styled saloons. Powered by the reliable 1622cc B Series engine and trimmed with wood veneer and quality fittings, it offered understated luxury with everyday usability until production ended in 1971.Please keep in mind that shes 55 years old, and like any classic car, there may always be minor areas needing attention or room for improvement. That said, on this car I believe most things could easily be managed through ongoing maintenance and care.HPI CHECK. The car has been checked and there is no known outstanding finance, mileage discrepancies, or insurance records of damage or theft.DELIVERY.
