This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Iconic Sale at the NEC Classic Motor Show 2025 on Saturday the 8th of November, NEC, Birmingham, B40 1NT. , Produced between 1999 and 2005, the Ferrari 360 was the successor to the well loved Ferrari F355, and to this day enjoys a loyal fanbase among Ferrari and supercar enthusiasts. With its Pininfarina-penned flowing lines, the 360 marked a significant design shift away from the angular nature of the F355, along with enjoying a lower unsprung weight, more powerful engine and an all aluminium space frame chassis which was reported to be 40% stiffer than its predecessors. The Modena was the first model to arrive in 1999, but the Spider was hot on its heels, being unveiled at the 2000 Geneva Motor Show. Due to the mechanics of the retracting roof, significant engineering changes were required for the Spider version, including enlarging the side air intakes and moving the inlet manifolds towards the centre of the engine.Offered here is a UK-supplied, right-hand drive 2002 Ferrari 360 Spider specified from new in Rosso Corsa with Nero leather seats and importantly with the 6-speed gated manual transmission. This particular example looks very smart with red paintwork, matching red brake calipers and factory Scuderia wing shields.The interior presents in very good order, with the black leather seats showing minimal wear and pairing neatly with the black dashboard and black hood. Having covered just 39,504 miles from new, the car is supported by a comprehensive service history, documented in the stamped service book and an accompanying file of invoices. Sticky switches known to affect all Ferraris from this era have been professionally addressed and overall, this example can be regarded as excellent.As a model, the 360 is gaining in popularity and rightfully so.
