I&039;ts been a slow process. During the respray the doors, tailgate, bonnet and glass were removed to ensure a high quality job. The body shop discovered some minimal areas that required attention which led to things escalating (as they do). Rear inner and outer heritage arches and sill replacements later and the shell was up to a great standard. It was rust free when I purchased it. The BBS kit is of course genuine, rare and looks great. The Borbet wheels (refurbished) suit the body lines nicely and look at home ( New Toyo tyres fitted).  The interior is by the well known trimmer MJ. The dashboard, parcel shelf, parcel shelf supports etc are all covered in hand stitched leather. The seats are electric and are from an Audi S3, also retrimmed with MJ embossed in the front seats. A new head lining and sunroof seal make things look perfect. The door cards are from a Rallye and have been part trimmed to match.  The rear axle was removed, new axle bushes fitted followed by a coat of stone chip. The front arms are new, the drop links are new, the CV joints are rebuilt with new boots. Various brake lines are new. New discs and pads. The rear axle has camber shims so that rear wheels have camber and the tucked look. The coilovers are still serviceable and FK coilovers.  This is just the tip of the iceberg, a new gearlinkage has been fitted, cambelt kit, fluids changed, HT leads, Plugs, expansion bottle, thermostat housing, outlet housing, heater matrix and heater flap seals etc.......anything that was old or needing replacing has been replaced.  This digifant engine is a peach, it sounds perfect, starts immediately with no smoke, and the gearbox is perfect. The original factory powertrain is great and useable long term. I have a massive folder of receipts,  in fact prior to me purchasing it the service book was pretty much fully stamped.    Team Heko window deflectors and tailgate trim look great, a 4 bar grill.
