Launched in 2007, the X358 featured a number of exterior and interior updates over its predecessor, including revised bumpers, a new grille, updated lights and a reprofiled bonnet and rear valance. Mechanically similar to the earlier model, it retained the bonded and riveted aluminium body construction for which the X350/X358 platform is known, delivering a compelling mix of refinement, performance and surprising agility. Production of the X358 ended in 2009, marking the conclusion of traditional XJ styling before the advent of the radically redesigned X351.The Car:First registered in 2009, this Jaguar XJ 3.0 V6 Sovereign is one of the final year examples and benefits from a unique specification that includes extended Autolux leather trim, embossed headrests, Jaguar-branded aluminium sill tread plates and distinctive wood grain inlays.
