This lot will be auctioned via Hampson Auctioneers, Located at Bolesworth Castle on Sunday 28th September 2025.Registered in 1986, this Sebring V8 is one of the highly regarded factory built evocations of the Austin Healey 3000. Finished in dark blue with cream detailing, it captures the unmistakable style of the Big Healey while benefitting from modern engineering and a robust Rover V8 powerplant.Under the bonnet sits a 3.9 litre Rover V8, extensively rebuilt and uprated by Abbey Sportscars V8 Tuner with supporting invoices. The works included new pistons, camshaft, bearings, hi flow valve guides, HD pushrods, lifters, and a hurricane camshaft, together with machining, head work and full assembly. An Edelbrock carburettor completes the set up, ensuring strong performance and reliability. Invoices on file show a total of over £3,000 spent on the engine alone, with further expenditure noted throughout the cars history. The interior is trimmed in period style with wood veneer dashboard and analogue instruments, while the exterior carries all the hallmarks of a classic Healey: chrome bumpers, wire style wheels, and purposeful stance. With just two seats, side exhausts, and a rumbling V8 soundtrack, it provides an authentic sports car experience with far greater usability than the 1950s original.Sebring International models are renowned as some of the best-engineered Healey recreations, factory assembled rather than kit built. This example, accompanied by invoices and a UK V5C correctly registered as a Sebring, represents a rare opportunity to acquire a well presented and mechanically uprated car that offers both style and performance in equal measure.Factory built Sebring V8, registered 19863.9-litre Rover V8 with Abbey Sportscars rebuild and upgradesSupporting invoices and documentation, V5C present
