    Decently bought this lovely 9 seater minibus from Andrew at Brookfield motors . From start to finish Andrew was amazing . Explaning everything and fixing any little problems.     High quality customer care from start to finish, it's been a while since I felt a business was doing everything possible to make the purchasing experience, hassle free, & a dare I say just very easy, seamless & straight forward!     Andrew said over the last 2 months he awaits postage confirmation of the second key. As I still haven’t received it this means it hasn’t been posted. Why keep the key - I am beginning to believe he wrongly advertised and there is no key? However, as he emailed and stated many times there is a second key, is he keeping it to steal back the vehicle…surely it is in his best interest to give me the second key. So – Until I receive receipt of the key this review proves that Andrew incorrectly describe vehicles and indeed lies. I only wish this review had been on his site whilst I was reading up on Brookfield Autos I would have given him a wide berth. When I asked about the cost of window tinting his reply was ‘take it or leave it’. I should have left it there and then with that response. On delivery of the vehicle (which was a rigmarole in itself) it was too late to challenge the ‘professionalism’ of the ‘professional clean’ he claims occurs on vehicles. I had to purchase a steam cleaner to get rid of the awful brown stain on the front seat and I am sure he was embarrassed as me when I was greeted with old, dried mud over the handles of the seat when we opened the door. The first day I drove the car I emailed a concern about the banging at the back of the vehicle when going over rough tarmac. He hasn’t followed up on this and it still is not resolved. When I was struggling registering the vehicle with the AA service he provides, he claimed he has never had to help anyone before…in other words, he isn’t going to start now. He still hasn’t asked if I was successful. It took me days. I can only hope the advisories on the failed mot (after I purchased it) have been rectified, as Andrew has stated and I will not have to change the brake pads. When I wrote my original review stating that my request for the service report and second key is getting ignored Andrew emailed me claiming I was blackmailing him and that he had gone above and beyond with his customer service. He sold and delivered a car that I bought. I expect nothing less. It is not unreasonable to request everything he advertised and I paid for to come with the car. And if his customer service as described above is above and beyond then he needs to change vocation. This is not blackmail. This is my review, until the key is received. I have asked Andrew how he wishes to proceed with resolving the dispute. Update – a day after I posted this a fault appeared on the car. I emailed Andrew and he stated it is wear and tear. It had a service and mot 2 months ago and I have driven only 1120 miles. I said if the key doesn’t arrive within the month I will be returning the car as it is within the 6 months warranty. 2 days later, a broken key arrived in the post which could have belonged to any model. I called Andrew, withheld number, as he chose not to answer it if he knew it was me. He said that customers were laughing at my updated reviews. He said I was ‘special’ and I was ‘stalking him’. I explained how the key he sent doesn’t work and asked why didn’t he test it on the vehicle before delivering it. He said he couldn’t test it as I had the vehicle. This meant, when he advertised the car with 2 keys, this was a lie. There wasn’t a second key. When he delivered the car to me I asked for the second key and he said he would post it out. He obviously didn’t have the key for it to take over 2 months and a lot of requesting and fobbing off by him saying it had been posted. I said I will be returning the vehicle and want my money back as it is within warranty and he said he will only give me market price for it!! This proves his cars are overpriced and the 6 month warranty therefore does not exist. I have asked for a battery for the key he sent and I want it in writing that the brake pads were changed in the service so they will not be a cost in the next mot, his response his blackmail. He has said as I haven’t removed my previous post he will not help me. I am hurt and appalled by his customer service and wish I had never become his customer.Go elsewhere!

    I had an extremely poor experience with this garage and mechanic. In my opinion, vehicles were passed for MOT despite having issues that should have failed them. Several parts that I expected to be replaced appeared instead to have been glued or patched together, which raised serious safety concerns. Work quality was inconsistent, with mistakes and problems left unresolved. The mechanic often failed to diagnose faults correctly, leading to repeated visits for the same issues. Prices felt excessive for the standard of work — or lack of — and agreed deadlines were routinely missed by days or even weeks. Communication was poor, with little explanation of what work had been done or why. Based on my experience, I would not trust this garage or mechanic with any future repairs or servicing.
