Review for DT Performance – SLK 55 Purchase I recently purchased my SLK 55 from DT Performance and couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. There were a few of these cars for sale around the country, but this one stood out for being competitively priced and in great condition. Soon after I purchased this TVR Griffith I ran into problems with the running of the engine, I was going on holiday so I took it up to them and left it with Tom at DT Performance whilst I was away, Tom was absolutely brilliant, he booked it into Sportmotive (TVR specialist ) they done full diagnostics, replaced the ECU and AFM and set it up. I returned from holiday and the car was all ready for me, I collected it and it is now running absolutely spot on. I was treated extremely well and I couldn’t have asked for more, the car had a problem (it’s a 27 year old car) and DT reacted perfectly, in these days it is very unusual to find any kind of shop that offers this great level of service. I’ve just purchased my TVR off of D T Performance and dealt with Tom. Right through the process the communication has been second to none, even after the sale, when other companies loose interest they have been superb. The sale was completed in a very relaxed way with absolutely no pressure. The sales showroom is great with fantastic cars all presented extremely well. I honestly couldn’t recommend DT Performance enough. I part exchanged my OG M2 in for a highly modified Lotus Exige 380. I’d been searching for one for two years and had disappointing experiences with several other dealers. I’m glad the right one came along with DT. Communication was brilliant from the team and the process was smooth and simple. Both Tom and Dan catered to my needs every step of the way. Keeping the showroom open late, organising collection during their holiday abroad, answering any questions I have at anytime and much more. I appreciate their efforts greatly.
