Outstanding service from start to finish at Vertu Volvo Taunton. I was collected from the station, the car was spotless, and every detail was taken care of. The salesman made sure everything was 100% perfect before I left and even followed up the next day. Service like this simply can’t be beaten!
I would not recommend Vertu Volvo Taunton because we purchased a XC90 0n 10 July 2025.On further inspection of the car on 31st July we noted there was no tyre inflation kit. We rang Volvo who advised they would ring us back the following day , no call was received. On 4 August the car was booked in for a tow bar to be fitted. The tyre kit was raised again and we were informed that the salesperson who sold us the car said we hadn't pointed this out to her at the time of handover!!!!!! Surely this was not our responsibility and a rude response considering her mistake ! At that point we were ensured that a kit would be ordered for us at no cost to us. Since then we have had no further contact from Volvo. This level of total disregard for our safety is unacceptable and an example of extremely poor customer care.
My experience at Vertu Volvo Taunton was cracking because there was excellent communication and helpful service. We asked for a tow bar to be fitted and everything was done and ready and delivered on time. The quality of service matches the quality of our Volvo XC90 - excellent. Thank you to the team!
The experience at Vertu Volvo Taunton was great because I was able to find out everything I needed about the car I was looking to purchase and when I couldn't find the right spec in the Taunton branch, they helped me source a car from nearby and then ensured that ot would be sorted to the expected standard. It did mean bringing it back in a couple of times but everything that I asked for was fixed and sorted.
My experience at Vertu Volvo Taunton could have been better because Within two weeks of purchase a red error light flashed on the dash of my XC40 recharge twin, This occurred twice before I phoned reception and asked for sales to call me, sales have not yet returned my call, I was then Put through to service reception to have this warning light looked into, where I was told the earliest they could look at this fault was in three weeks time on the 28th of August, and if I wanted a replacement vehicle while my vehicle was in the workshops it would be at least six weeks before the fault on my new purchase could be looked at, When I said that I wasn't particularly happy with that And asked “what if it was something seriously wrong with the car?” I was told Oh well if it breaks down you can have it recovered directly to us and we'll look at it then! All in all I am not particularly impressed with this level of customer service, lovely competent sales staff but it looks like once they've got the 26K the level of service seems to drop off somewhat shall we say, so no I will not be recommending virtual Volvo Taunton and will be reserving judgement until after the fault on my vehicle has been looked into and hopefully resolved
